Appropriate species with low water and maintenance needs, and drought resistance, in most cases, were selected. Endemic species with appropriate sizes for the available space were planted, minimizing future pruning work. Grass areas were eliminated, anti-weed meshes and inorganic mulching were used, along with other tasks aimed at improving the sustainability of urban green areas.
