Drafting of the Gardening Annex of the Basic and Execution Project of the María Jiménez Sports and Recreation Space for Estudio Funcionall. Plantations of native and local species as a projection of the vegetation of the surrounding slopes, creating new sustainable green areas. Other species that do not strictly belong to this location but will provide colour with their flowering (Canarian lavender or Guaydil) or height to the compositions (Acebuche) are included. Other allochthonous species, with low irrigation and maintenance needs, complete the plant palette. Shade is provided with Harpephyllum caffrum or “Ciruelo de los Cafres” trees in the children´s area. It´s an easy-to-grow perennial species, with a very non-aggressive root system, a rounded or spreading crown and fairly rapid growth.
